Aboutपरिचय
The ICMR–National Institute of Health Research (NIHR), Jodhpur is a Thematic Partner of the Asia Pacific Observatory on Health Systems and Policies (APO) under the theme:
आईसीएमआर–राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान संस्थान (एनआईएचआर), जोधपुर एशिया प्रशांत वेधशाला — स्वास्थ्य प्रणाली एवं नीतियाँ (एपीओ) का एक थीमैटिक पार्टनर है, जो निम्नलिखित विषय पर कार्य करता है:
The partnership was approved by the APO Board in 2025 for an initial period of five years. It brings together institutions from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan to undertake collaborative research and health systems and policy activities focused on strengthening the health workforce.
इस साझेदारी को एपीओ बोर्ड द्वारा 2025 में प्रारंभिक रूप से पाँच वर्षों के लिए अनुमोदित किया गया था। यह भारत, बांग्लादेश, श्रीलंका और भूटान की संस्थाओं को साथ लाकर स्वास्थ्य कार्यबल को सुदृढ़ करने हेतु सहयोगात्मक अनुसंधान तथा स्वास्थ्य प्रणाली एवं नीति संबंधी गतिविधियाँ संचालित करती है।
The thematic partnership aims to generate and synthesise evidence, support capacity building, facilitate policy engagement and promote the use of evidence for strengthening health systems and health workforce policies in the region.
इस थीमैटिक साझेदारी का उद्देश्य साक्ष्य उत्पन्न एवं संश्लेषित करना, क्षमता निर्माण में सहयोग, नीति-संवाद को सुगम बनाना तथा क्षेत्र में स्वास्थ्य प्रणाली और स्वास्थ्य कार्यबल नीतियों को सुदृढ़ करने के लिए साक्ष्य के उपयोग को प्रोत्साहित करना है।

Objectivesउद्देश्य
- Conduct research and other health systems and policy-related activities aligned with the APO research agenda.एपीओ अनुसंधान एजेंडा के अनुरूप अनुसंधान तथा अन्य स्वास्थ्य प्रणाली एवं नीति संबंधी गतिविधियाँ संचालित करना।
- Generate, synthesise and disseminate evidence on health workforce and health systems.स्वास्थ्य कार्यबल एवं स्वास्थ्य प्रणालियों पर साक्ष्य उत्पन्न, संश्लेषित एवं प्रसारित करना।
- Collaborate with the APO Secretariat and relevant policymakers to identify priority issues for analysis.विश्लेषण हेतु प्राथमिकता वाले विषयों की पहचान के लिए एपीओ सचिवालय तथा संबंधित नीति-निर्माताओं के साथ सहयोग करना।
- Support evidence-informed policy and decision-making.साक्ष्य-आधारित नीति एवं निर्णय-निर्माण में सहयोग करना।
- Provide technical support and leadership for strengthening local capacity in health systems and policy research.स्वास्थ्य प्रणाली एवं नीति अनुसंधान में स्थानीय क्षमता सुदृढ़ करने हेतु तकनीकी सहयोग एवं नेतृत्व प्रदान करना।
- Collaborate with the APO Secretariat in developing grant applications related to the thematic area.थीमैटिक क्षेत्र से संबंधित अनुदान आवेदन तैयार करने में एपीओ सचिवालय के साथ सहयोग करना।

The APO Thematic Partnership was established in 2025 for an initial period of five years. The consortium comprises institutions from four South Asian countries:

The consortium provides a regional platform for collaborative research, knowledge generation and policy engagement on approaches to achieving and maintaining a fit-for-purpose health workforce.
यह कंसोर्टियम सक्षम स्वास्थ्य कार्यबल प्राप्त करने एवं बनाए रखने की दिशा में सहयोगात्मक अनुसंधान, ज्ञान सृजन तथा नीति-संवाद हेतु एक क्षेत्रीय मंच प्रदान करता है।
